What was the experience like at Wine Country Trattoria?
The Atmosphere
The day that I went the weather was 72˚ Fahrenheit and had a slight breeze at 12:30 PM. They have indoors and outdoor seating. I was seated outside and it was incredibly beautiful. I recommend sitting outside if possible, since there is a lot of shaded areas and it is spacious enough for large families. It was honestly very relaxing sipping on wine and watching people walk around at the Pacific Wharf.
The Service
The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. We had reservations set for 12:30pm and got seated within 5 minutes. It took the wait staff less than a minute to come by and ask if we would like anything to drink.
Our waiter was very efficient and often checked up on us to make sure we’re doing well. He helped us with our wine pairing and suggested an off menu wine. The waiter was quick to refill our water, especially mine since I drink a lot of water throughout the day.
By the time we ordered our food it was about 12:40. We received our wine by 12:45 and our food by 12:52. Overall, very quick and efficient. This was during opening hours for the restaurant, so there weren’t a lot of people eating here by the time we sat down.
Throughout our meal, a wait staff even came by and talked to us about our day and cracked jokes. It was great to see the staff having a good time working.
The Food & Drink

Overall, the food was delicious! The wine we ordered was a Snap Dragon Riesling 2019. We ordered the Fettuccine Shrimp Alfredo and the Spaghetti Bolognese with Meatballs. The menu has a nice selection of Italian appetizers, entrees, and deserts with a pretty limited kids menu. They also had an allergy menu that you can get upon requests.

Snap Dragon Riesling

The Snap Dragon Riesling is a sweet white wine that pairs well with the fettuccine Shrimp Alfredo. Despite it being a cheap wine, it was light and I would not mind getting again. Since it was off the menu, it definitely made us feel more bougie.
Fettuccine Shrimp Alfredo
The Fettuccine Shrimp Alfredo was probably the best we got from here. It was light, creamy, and it had enough pepper flakes to give it some heat. You can definitely taste the Parmesan, garlic, and the heavy cream mixed together perfectly. The Fettuccine was hand made and al dente. Beautifully cooked shrimp, it was moist and soft to chew. I would definitely come back just for this dish.
Spaghetti Bolognese with Meatballs
The Spaghetti Bolognese with Meatballs was savory and meaty. The sauce itself was meaty, creamy, and tomato-y. The spaghetti pasta was al dente, but I do not think it was handmade. Meatballs were surprisingly juicy and steamy, however, I do think it could have been seasoned more because it just tasted like any ol’ meat-a-ball. The dish did come in the form of Mickey, which was awesome to see. I believe I would get something different when I come back.
Conclusion
Overall, it was a lovely experience! I would definitely come back again and would recommend you eat here too. This is definitely a must try if you are looking to sit down and relax a little from the chaos that is Disneyland. The service and the Alfredo alone is enough to bring me back. When I do I will possibly try a different dish such as, the Rib-eye Steak or the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. Have you been to Wine Country Trattoria? If so, comment below and let me know what you thought!
If you plan on going to California Adventure then check this place out! I recommend getting a reservation since it can get pretty crowded, however, you are able to join a walk-up wait list.
Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon on a daily basis. It will always be useful to read articles from other writers and practice something from other web sites.
